June 5 Dodgers (4-1-1) 16 Athletics (2-4) 12 The Dodger’s got off to an early lead with 14 runs in the first 3 innings, mostly on walks, errors and a pair of doubles by Gunnar Holmes and Billy Adler. The A’s only had three runs in the first 4 innings including two home runs by Kyle Macey. In the 5th inning the A’s put together a 9 run rally that fell just short of tying up the game. Hits included Nate Davis’s first home run of the year in the left field net, a triple by Kyle Macey, and doubles by Tony Tenaglia and Drew Gordon. The bats went cold in the 6th and the Dodgers picked up two more runs.

Angels (1-2) 16 Reds (1-2) 9 The Reds jumped off to an early first inning lead thanks to a grand slam home run by Andrew Maten. The Angles never gave up and answered with three runs in the bottom for the first & nine in the bottom of the third. The Angels finally played as a team. Jacob Smith and Gary Macka did a great job pitching.

May 30 Angels vs. Reds - Posptoned
May 29 Athletics (2-1) 11 Astros (2-1) 2 Christian Rozanski and David Pershin combined to give up only 2 runs on 3 hits for the A’s. The offense was led by Nate Davis and Tony Tenaglia who went 2 for 2, while Pershin and Joey Vrendenburg went 2 for 3. Offensively for the Astro’s, Steven Wroe hit a nice shot up the middle for a double and later scored.

May 28 Athletics (1-1) 8 Dodgers(1-1-1) 2 The A’s were led in hitting by a triple from David Pershin, who then stole home to score the 1st run in the 1st. Tony Tenaglia had a 2 RBI single and Joey Vrendenburg hit a nice double to score a run in the 2nd . Kyle Macey hit a towering shot deep into center field for an in the park Home Run in the 3rd. On defense for the A’s, Michael Guirey caught a fly ball in center field and threw the runner out at 2nd for the only double play of the night.
