Late heroics by Sam Tomlinson proved to be the difference in the Athletics first win of the season. Behind 4-3 in the 5th inning, Josh Lichtman led off with a double. He scored on Jacob Tomlinson's single to tie the score. Sam then roped a liner down the left field line, a 2-run homer, as he came all around the bases to score. He then closed the door on the White Sox, pitching a scoreless 6th inning for the save. Andrew Bourgeois and Nick Uhlarik contributed key hits as well.
The White Sox were led by Aidan Kelley, Jake Transit, and Hunter Lisabeth with five hits collectively.

ZACH Attack!!
Zach Tomlinson had a career night going 2-3 at the plate including a 2-run double in the 4th inning. He also came up huge with a game-saving catch in the 5th. Down five runs, the A's battled back and took the lead in the 4th when Sam Tomlinson crushed a single scoring the go-ahead run. Connor Harris and Ryan Evans each had their first hits of the year contributing to the A's comeback victory. Jacob Tomlinson earned his first save striking out the side in the sixth.
The Astros were led by Joey Berlin (1-2) and Justin Flood (1-2) as berlin pitched two innings of 1-hit ball.

The Tigers got 4 RBI's from Jackson Schodowski and 2 RBI's from Yony Daily.Excellent pitching by
Adam and Ari Yaker held the Sox to three runs.
Aidan Kelly pitched well for the Sox.

Zack Gregorich pitched 3 innings and Tae Whinham pitched 2 in the Yankee win.
Gregorich also provided the blast the broke open the game. His bases loaded triple in the right center gap capped off a four run fourth inning.

The Dodgers started off strong scoring 4 in the first while Rory McKelvey kept the Cards off the board with solid pitching. David Austin went 2 for 2  with 5 RBIs and a grand slam in the 3rd to wake the Cards and followed up with outstanding pitching in the 5th and 6th.
Mark Fiorini, Jeremy Dupuie, and Blake Ratliff each had a RBI and Brett Kerby knocked in 2 runs to help the cause.
Great hustle by both teams.

Tight game all the way with good pitching keeping it close for both sides. Mike Boggio came up with a big 2 run triple stopped only by the short fence. Jeremy Dupuie went 3 for 3 and scored twice. David Austin came on in relief to strike out 7 in 3 innings as the Cards came from behind again.

Solid pitching by Carson Deeds (3 innings, one run) and Ian Kossak (2 scoreless innings) plus a big
hit by Zack Schwartz in a 7 run 4th inning led the Mets to a big lead.
A sixth inning Yankee comeback was foiled when pitcher Sebastion Carlesso got the final two outs with the bases loaded.

The Red Sox bats came out strong in the first inning and they led 3-0 until the bottom of the second, when the White Sox came back to take the lead 6-3.

David Austin of the Cardinals had three hits, scored a run and pitched 3 innings striking out 8 batters. Conner Grobbel of the Astros had three hits, scored a run and pitched 3 innings , striking out eight batters.

Both starting pitchers were strikeout machines. Yank's hurler Tae Whinham registered 8 K's, compared to Red Peter Trout's 9 strikeout effort. Whinham's bases loaded single in the 3rd jump started a six run, 2 out rally. Chester Rogers followed with his first career RBI.
Miles Berlin's fine catch of a hard drive was instumental in limiting the Reds to a single run in the bottom of the inning.
Zack Gregorich went 2 for 2 and has at least one extra base hit in each of his team's games. He pitched a scoreless 4th and 5th inning with 4 strikeouts. Kyle Domzalski faced four batters in the bottom of the sixth to close out the game.

For the Mets, Carson Deeds drove in 3 runs with his double in the 3rd.

Jake Serwa and Ian Berlin combined for five innings of shutout pitching for the Astros.

The Tigers were led by solid pitching by Tyler Smith and Adam Yaker who combined for 7 strike-outs and allowed just one run each.
Offensively Ari Yaker provided the punch going 3 for 3 with two doubles and a single. Adam
Yaker was also 3 for 3.
For the Yankees, Zach Gregorich had 3 rbi's with a triple and a double. Kyle Domzalski had a home run in the 4th inning.

the Indians had great pitching from Ethan Bishop, Jackson Burger, and Cameron Eckert.They totaled 17 strikeouts, with Eckert throwing 9.
The offense was lead Matt Segel who had reached 2 times and his brother Josh scored the winning run
The Astros were lead by Nathan Herskovitz who had 2 hits.

The White Sox offense was sparked by a 2 run triple from Jake Transit and a triple from Aidan Kelley that scored a run.
A pitching duel began between the Cardinal's, and the White Sox's, Aidan Kelley, that resulted in six consecutive strike-outs

Yankees Zach Gregorich (3 singles), Miles Berlin (3 singles), and Jack Fairman (2 singles) had multiple hit games.
The Braves were led by Nick Dechene (double and two singles), and Griffen Sanom (two singles).

The Cardinal offense was led by David Karwaski and David Austin, each with a 2 for 3 & 4 RBI day.
Alec Milanowski added to the scoring with a 2 RBI double. The were aided by great pitching from
Austin, Blake Ratliff, Jeremy Dupuie.
The Mets offense was led by Wyatt and Carson Deeds.

The Red Sox pounded out 17 hits, as Liam Fox, Danny Flannery, Griffin Batcheller and Brendan Murphy all went 3 for 3 and scored twice. One of Murphy's runs was a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth.
Evan Murphy, Alex Nader, Michael Cuneaz, (two singles) and Andy Gabel all chipped in with hits as well.
For the Indians, Jackson Berger led off the game with a homer, and Cameron Eckert jacked a bomb of a home run into right center.

The Tigers were led offensively by Ari Yakers's double and Tyler Smith's homerun in the 1st
inning to take an early 2-0 lead. The Mets took the lead for good in the fourth inning with a triple by Jack Lefkowitz, a Grant Laramee double and Carson Deeds single. Solid Mets pitching by Laramee, Kossak and Carson Deeds held off a late Tigers rally.

The Cards were led by timely hits from Matt Austin, Sean Davis, and Brett Kerby. They were aided great pitching from Blake Ratliff, Mark Fiorini, and David Austin.
Yankees offense was led by Tae Whinham and Jack Fairman.

The 1st inning was highlighted by a 2 run double from Aidan Kelley that helped to end the inning 3-0. The Sox closed the 4th inning with a double play from Michael Forbes to Joey Wolberg.

The Indians got out to a 2-0 lead on Cameron Eckert's triple and than scored on a ground out.
The Indians pitching trio of Eckert, David long, and Jackson Berger combined for 12 strikeouts.
The Braves were led by Nick Dechene with 3 hits including 2 doubles.

Josh Lichtman's single in the bottom of the 5th knocked in the go-ahead run. Jacob Tomlinson continued his hot hitting going 2-3 at the plate including a 2-run triple. The night belonged to Dominic Luca as he connected on his first two hits of the year. Dom had two doubles and 4 RBI leading the charge.
For the Sox, Brendan Murphy pitched three strong innings striking out seven. His brother Evan went 2-3 at the plate smashing two singles with three RBI. Griffin Batcheller went 2-2 and Liam Fox had a double.

The Cards were led by David Karwaski, Brett Kerby, and Mike Boggio on offense with great pitching from Blake Ratliff, Mark Fiorini, and David Austin for the save.
The A's were led by starter Sam Tomlinson with a 3 for 3 effort.
Solid defense and hustle by both teams treated the fans to an exciting game.

Reds vs Indians

A 2 run double from Joey Wolberg in the 2nd, a triple from Jake Transit in the 3rd, and Adam Healey's home run in the 4th paced the Sox offense. Hunter Lisabeth's hard single early in the 6th brought in 2 runs
The Braves closed the gap to 6-4 late in the 4th with a 2 run homer from Sean Mullane.

Miles Berlin got his first start on the mound, and struck out five batters. Catcher Jack Fairman threw out two Red Sox attempting to steal, and Tae Whinham went 3 for 3 with a double and a pair of singles. Zack Gregorich recorded his sixth extra base hit of the season, and Chester Rogers got his second RBI in as many games.
For the Red Sox' Liam Fox scored two runs and stole four bases. Danny Flannery had the lone base hit,  stole three bases and scored a run.

Mets (3-4)   12
Dodgers       6
The Mets scored 11 runs in the first three innings and held for the win. They were led offensively by Grant Laramee's two run HR and Zack Schwartz's three hits.
The Dodgers hitting was led by Collin Brickner's 2 run homer.

Tigers (4-4)     6
Astros (1-7)      5
Adam Yaker pitched 3 scoreless innings for the Tigers recording 6 strikeouts.
Offesivley Cameron Monroe went 3 for 3 with a triple in the top of the 6th to secure the win. Monroe also pitched the 5th and 6th innings and recorded 4 KO's.
For the Astros, Jake Serwa pitched 2 flawless inninings racking up 5 KO's. Henry Winczner had a nice game going 2 for 2 and Ian Berlin was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's in the bottom of the 6th to keep this game very close.

The Athletic's Sam Tomlinson pitched three scoreless innings allowing only one hit, a triple by the Mets' Sebastian Carlesso. Zach Nicolai had two triples and a double in three plate appearances. Ryan Evans' base-hit tied the score in the bottom of the sixth.
Wyatt and Carson Deeds both chipped in with singles to help the Mets' cause, while pitchers Grant Laramee and Ian Kossak allowed only two runs between them in five innings of work

The Tigers were lead by Ty Smith and Cameron Monroe both going 3 for 3. Smith had a single, double and a triple while Monroe had two singles and a double. Christian Sievers went 2 for 3 with a single and a double. The Tigers had good pitching from Adam Yaker and Tommy Sheffer.
For the Indians, Jackson Berger and Josh Segall both went 2 for 2. Segall had 3 RBI's for the tribe. Cameron Eckert pitched well for 3 innings.

The Cardinal offense led by David Karwaski and Blake Ratliff, who had the game winning RBI in the 6th inning. The defense got outstanding pitching by Ratliff, Marc Fiorini, and David Austin.
The Reds offense was led by Patrick Trout and Eric Landgraf. Patrick and Peter Trout shared the work on the mound.

Dodgers vs. White Sox

The White Sox's Adam Healey had a strong day at the plate with a two run triple and a solid double. First time pitcher, Ian McManus pitched four straight outs in the 2nd and 3rd innings.
The Yankees fought back through the 5th inning to tighten the score to 10-9, but were closed down by a shutout inning pitched by Aidan Kelley.

The Mets were led offensively by Ian Kossak (triple, double) and Grant Laramee (double, 2-run HR).
The Braves made it close with two hits by Nick Dechane and Patrick Umlaf's 3-run HR.

The Cards attack was led by Blake Ratliff w/ 2 doubles, Jeremy Dupuie was 2 for 3, Brett Kerby w/ 3 RBI's, Matt Austin broke it open with a nice shot down the line. Strong performance on the mound by Ratliff, Marc Fiorini, and David Austin.
The Tigers were led by a great all around game by Adam Yaker and nice 2 for 3 outings at the plate by Ari Yaker and Cameron Monroe.

Astros Justin Flood, Alex Hodges and Jake Serwa each had two hits to lead a ten hit attack. Defensively for the Astros, Marcus Frankel and Hodges, made key plays in the infield during the fourth inning .
Zach Gregorich connected for a single and a RBI double for the Yankees.

The Cardinals offense was led by Marc Fiorini and Jacob Mcardle, with great pitching by David Austin, Blake Ratliff, and Fiorini.
The Reds offense was led by Hunter Hockridge and Peter Trout each with a home run.

The Mets offense came alive, delivering three home runs.
Leading the way were Sebastion Carlesso (3 run HR, two singles, double),
Carson Deeds (2 run HR, triple, single), Ian Kossak (3 run HR, two singles)
and Wyatt Deeds (five base hits).
The Braves offense was led by Patrick Umlauf (double, 3 singles) and Nick DeChene (double, single).


June 22
White Sox vs Dodgers

Astros         4
Yankees' Sam Stone, Zach Gregorich, and Miles Berlin each had a multi hit game and consecutive RBI to break a 1-1 tie in the third inning. Tae Whinham also contributed offensively with a pair of doubles. Pitcher Kyle Domzalski yeilded only one hit in three innings of work. Jack Fairman threw 1 shutout inning, and Gregorich closed out innings 5 and 6 to secure the win

The Tigers were led by Adam Yaker who had 2 hits. Yaker, Tommy Sheffer and Adam Yaker shared the pitching duties.
For the Indians, Cameron Eckert pitched 3 innings, holding the Tigers to only one run.

The Mets put the game away with five runs in the fifth inning highlighted by a Carson Deeds double. Sebastion Carlesso pitched three scoreless innings with nine K's.
The A's were led by Josh Lichtman's three hits with two RBI's.

The Cardinals offensive attack was led by David Karwaski, Marc Fiorini, and David Austin.
Fiorini, Bake Ratliff, and Jeremy Dupie split the work on the mound.
Adam and Ari Yaker paced the Tiger offense.

Reds     2
Astros   0
Peter Trout, Ben Cummings, and Patrick Trout combined for a 1 hit shutout and Hunter Hockridge provided the offense with 3 hits including a H R and a triple.
Jake Serwa of the Astros had the defensive play of the night, snaring a line drive.
Ian Berlin and Conner Grobbel pitched great for the Astros, limiting the Reds to just 4 hits while striking out 11.



White Sox       12

Jake Transit popped a 3-run homer deep into right-center field. Aidan Kelley closed it out with 3 K’s in the 5th.

JUNE 25 - 27 SUMMER CLASSIC

Sam Tomlinson hit a line shot to left- centerfield for a homerun and later added a triple power the Athletics. Zach Tomlinson went 2-2 with a double and a triple, and Josh Lichtman struck out the side in the 6th to preserve the tie.
For the Yankees, Zach Gregorich hit a two-run double in the first and Tae Whinham added a double in the fifth that scored a run. Great defense was displayed by both teams in the draw.

The Cards offense was led by David Karwaski with a 4 for 4 night, and Mike Boggio had a Home run. Cards pitching was a team effort.
The Redsox were led by Brandon Murphy, Liam Fox and Griffen Batchelor.

White Sox vs Indians

Astros     7
The Mets Carson Deeds led the game off with a home run and also had a triple and single to help jumpstart the Mets offense. Ian Kossak provided two doubles and asingle, and big hits by DJ Jackson and Max Kwartowitz provided added offense.
The Astros were led by a Henry Winczner with a triple, and doubles by Conner Grobbel and Justin Flood.

The Mets offense was led by Carson Deeds (two triples, double, single) and Ian Kossak (two HR's, one a Grand Slam, double, single).
